ALL-FILL INC. COMPLETES DESIGN OF NEW SANITARY FILL HEAD

August 3rd, 2015

All-Fill Inc is pleased to announce the design and build completion of a brand new and innovative sanitary auger filling machine. Our advance benefits applications that work for a sanitary design.

Typically, products such as whey proteins, milk powder, cheese based powders and custom dairy blends require a very strict sanitary standard for the machinery that is used to fill them.  All-Fill, looking for a better way to capture this audience has developed a special sanitary Model B-SV-600 sanitary filling machine to meet this need.

The new machinery is engineered with sloped surfaces in all critical areas.  The main distinguishing feature of the sanitary filling machine is the domed hopper cover and the fabricated design of the filling head rather than the typical casting used across the industry.  The idea behind the sloped surfaces with a focus on eliminating cracks and crevices is to reduce the chance for product particles/contaminants to enter these areas and prohibit the growth of bacteria.

The sanitary filler comes complete with every distinguishing feature of a Model B-SV-600 with the addition of some very convenient and unique designs as well.  The auger height adjustment shaft, often difficult to loosen and tighten is now located outside of the hopper.  All-Fill provides a very convenient and proprietary wrench to use in order to adjust the shaft upward or downward.  The entire slow speed spindle is also completely removable for COP (clean out of place) standards.  The spindle is made from a solid piece of 316L stainless steel and it is easily removed when utilizing another proprietary tool provide free of charge by All-Fill to assist in the lowering and raising of the spindle assembly.  End users of All-Fill’s latest filler will appreciate being able to completely water-wash-down the unit for quick cleaning and sanitization.

At the moment, the sanitary filler does not come with any USDA- dairy grading branch approvals (3A), but that is the intention.  A representative from the USDA grading branch will visit All-Fill to carefully inspect the machine and bring our mechanical engineering team up to date with all of the latest USDA standards for machinery with a 3A dairy compliant sticker.  After this evaluation, All-Fill will go back to the drawing board to better refine our design in hopes for a successive inspection of the machine at which time the intent is to get the 3A approval.

All-Fill will look forward to displaying the sanitary filler at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2015, and hopefully a USDA-3A approved unit at Pack Expo Chicago 2016.
