All-Fill packaging machines continue to stand as the one and only industry leader, with a focus on future designs and advancing technology.

Meet our new Lab Technician

January 14th, 2021

Chris O'Keefe started as an intern back in the summer of 2012 doing material and time costing for All Fill's component manufacturing. He was hired back full time after graduating with his undergrad degree in the Spring of 2013 and has been an All-Fill employee for almost 8 years. Chris has had a long journey with us so far, but it is only beginning. O'Keefe started in assembly where he focused his time building machinery, helping with crating, shipping and receiving. Shortly after, Chris got a glimpse of our stockroom, where he pulled jobs that were ready for assembly, managed inventory, fulfillled parts orders, and made part deliveries to different vendors. In this department, he learned how All-Fill functioned internally as the stockroom was the hub where all the departments at All Fill intermingled.

From there, Chris moved into our sales department. He took on a sales & project management role working in our vibratory filling division. In this position, he was able to get a full understanding of what All-Fill Inc. manufactured. Chris gained a great deal of knowledge by traveling to various tradeshows, completing sales calls, and simply building relationships with customers. He was able to learn more of the science of filling and packaging, as well as developing technical skills such as how to run, test, troubleshoot, diagnose and service machinery in the field.

Last Spring, O'Keefe started training with his predecessor, Biff Bailey, as the new Lab Technician for All Fill. Biff did a great job passing on as much of his 27 years worth of knowledge to Chris before his retirement. This role has really allowed Chris to dive into the specifics of product characteristics and handling as well as pushing the limits of our equipment capabilities. It has been a great role for blending his mechanical and technical skills with sales as he helps support the sales team with data, video, and application specific information. This application information in the end will not only benefit All Fill, but our customers as well by identifying early on in the project any hurdles that may be present and how we can overcome them. Chris is more than ready and excited to continue to find the best solution possible for your applications.

President, Ryan Edginton mentions

"Biff has done an excellent job in preparing the next leader of the All-Fill/Auger Fabrication test lab in Chris O'Keefe. Chris is more than qualified to take on this task and has already left his mark on the position by enhancing the technological capabilities of the lab and the way that our customers will be presented with media and data from lab tests. All-Fill Inc. and Auger Fabrication customers can only expect more from our test lab moving forward and for this we thank Chris and also the legacy that Biff left behind."
