All-Fill Inc. and Auger Fabrication have once again teamed up to pool their resources in order to gain competitive advantages as well as providing better service for our valued customer base. October marks the first month of full production on the recently acquired Mazak Integrex I200S Machining Center. This purchase is the ninth CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine currently in operation at our Exton, PA; 65,000 sq. ft. facility.

The Mazak Integrex I200S will be primarily used for machining milled bar; the majority component in the production of augers. Working hand in hand with Mazak technicians, Auger Fabrication has found a way to produce milled bar at unprecedented rates which will lead to higher inventory levels of standard auger sizes to better accommodate the quick deliveries that many Auger Fabrication customers routinely seek.

Although it is evident that CNC milling centers are the future of the machining capabilities at All-Fill and Auger Fabrication, it must be noted that Lees Bradner Thread Millers are still being used today, a technology that dates back to the 1940’s. Because of the age of the ruggedly built thread milling machines, the spare parts needed are becoming more difficult to find each year.
