OLDEST RUNNING ALL-FILL AUGER FILLER!

October 29th, 2014

All-Fill takes great pride in building machinery that is designed to last.  Rugged, reliable and easy to support are very obvious phrases that are often used to describe the quality and craftsmanship of All-fill machinery. To our surprise, we believe that we have recently come across the oldest running All-Fill auger filling machine by way of a very valuable customer throughout the years.  The serial number on the machine refers to a machine built in December of 1969.  All-fill was formally founded in August of 1969, and all records indicate that this filler was the fourth All-Fill filler ever manufactured.

A lot has changed over the years, but the functionality is still exactly the same.  The filler was a model TM which stands for Table Model, much similar to the standard B-350-e of today commonly referred to as a Bench Model.  The 1969 TM was built on top of a control cabinet/base combination.  Unlike modern day entry level machines machines with alphanumeric touch pads and encoders, the originals fillers were built with timers.  The amount of auger revolutions was simply set based upon time.  Delays were added where needed and as mentioned earlier, the functionality remained the same.

As long as the proper amount of auger revolutions is achieved, accuracy can typically be guaranteed.  “The fact that All-Fill now has proof that a machine over 45 years old is still in fine running condition is a testament to the quality workmanship that has existed at All-Fill through the years,” says Kyle Edginton- Vice President.

All-Fill encourages anyone that may be in possession of a machine built prior to December 1969 to come forward with details.  Since there have been so many advances in technology since 1969, this machine is probably a good candidate for a face lift, but this machine will certainly be restored as best as possible for display purposes.  For more information on All-Fill filling machines, Alpha checkweighers or Avatar VFFS bagging machines, please contact your local sales person or representative for more information.  Also, feel free to email info@all-fill.com
